Now you want to understand
why it works and how to make it work better.

This mentorship is for powerlifting coaches who want to bridge the gap between experience and expertise. It’s a space to sharpen your thinking, refine your systems, and strengthen your decision-making.

Coaches who learn best through dialogue, experimentation, and reflection

Here's what others had to say,

"The RTS Mentorship is such a great investment for anybody looking to expand their coaching skillset, and not simply just for powerlifting. It encompasses topics that will help to cement strong, lasting relationships with your clientele, your ability to achieve effective communication, as well as what it means to be a leader that inspires change within the people you work with. Coaching is so much more than writing and sending a program; it's about nurturing growth within the person you work with, collaborating alongside them upon their fitness / powerlifting journey, and navigating the difficulties that come up along the way. The RTS Mentorship really brings this to light, and regardless of the target demographic, every single coach will attain value from the lessons acquired here.

From a strength and powerlifting standpoint, the RTS Mentorship dives deep into the principles of strength training, program design, data analysis, competitive coaching (game day handling), and performance troubleshooting. It also outlines the framework of the Emerging Strategies model, however I would highly recommend taking the "Programming with Emerging Strategies" course so individuals may have a solid grasp of the topics covered. With that being said, this mentorship is full of practical, ready-to-implement information for coaches to begin using with their athletes almost immediately.

If you are interested in developing yourself as a coach, if you want to learn to curate your program decision-making, and if you aspire to help athletes achieve their greatest potential, this course will help you achieve that. I would fully recommend this mentorship for anybody looking to elevate their standard of service."

"I learned so, so much – far more than I can fit here – during the mentorship about the nuts and bolts of lifting, from weakness analysis to using velocity to adopting a self-organised approach when it comes to technique, to name but a few elements. This has resulted in recent comp PRs for me (and my lifters!), most notably on my squat, which had been plateaued for around two years.

The element which made the biggest change to my lifting and coaching was learning how to program using the Emerging Strategies approach. Analysing data and athlete response and really becoming a student of the sport, all while recognising that this isn’t a ‘one and done’ thing, but rather a continuous and iterative process.

As well as there being dedicated ‘soft skills’ lessons, sports psychology was a thread which ran through a lot of the calls with Mike, and I think it’s the thing which has had the most impact on me in that it’s altered my approach to training/coaching/life(!) in general. Through the mentorship, I’m now much better equipped to be able to spot the biases in myself and to challenge them.

RTS has developed systems which I’d describe as a perfect marriage of objective analysis and subjective feeling: a quantitative layer over the more fuzzy notion of training ‘by feel’. I have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending the mentorship. It doesn't just give you knowledge, but tools and frameworks for creative problem solving and critical thinking that every coach and self-coached lifter can benefit from."

Learn From The Team That Built Adaptive Training

Reactive Training Systems (RTS) began with a simple idea: training should adapt to the athlete, not the other way around.

Founded by world-class powerlifter and coach Mike Tuchscherer, RTS has helped thousands of lifters and coaches worldwide through individualized systems, data-driven tools, and principled decision-making.

This mentorship distills those systems into a guided, applied experience so you can use the same frameworks that define RTS coaching inside your own practice.
